He was down with viral (IIRC) and was hospitalised a week back. Were you able to contact him over the phone?

No clue kippu. He had in fact told me to post it on TE but TE was down at that time and I forgot! :ashamed:

I think I should ask mods to update the status. Doing it right away.

Friends,

Today I am trying to install Windows 7 on my new 120GB mushkin SSD. But I couldnt able to boot from CD Drive too if the SSD is connected. I am getting error says that: "Disk Read Error". Do I need to change anything in BIOS before setting up an SSD?

None! I am assuming your SSD is the connected to the primary SATA port or the port that reads SATA-I on the motherboard. Connect it and try it again.
