Just read through this so called poster i received in my email.. you'll get it..

BTW ... aren't the people going to be drunk on their way back home? I attended a kingfisher party at palace grounds some 2 years back, there was booze, rock bands and hot chicks going crazy, it was fun but it also turned ugly with frequent fights and very light security. We were dead drunk on our way back home but we left our car in the parking lot and took an Auto instead.

ok.. to those who cant make out whats so wrong with it.. here goes..

crappy language (wanna listen to "Heavy Metals"?), loads of misspellings(including names of bands, "Gelleabi Cartel"), the new F1 team "Force ONE India", "suck the juice" :O, Inviting family for Beer Pong? and so on and so forth...

Seriously? You made a thread to highlight this? And we are supposed to insult and laugh at them for making such a poster?

What we should be discussing here instead is the drink and drive scenario involved. Most of the crowd on their way home is going to be smashed drunk and without proper checking it is going to lead to many unfortunate accidents. The last time I attended such an event, there was practically no security, just a bunch of dumb guards standing at the gates and believe me everyone was drunk, even the decent looking chicks.

The least the organizers can do is place a police checkpost on the exit and not allow drunk drivers to drive.

^Me too :P These things are better than a concert.

Drunk, surrounded by hot chicks and headbanging to your favorite Rock song = Priceless! :D

Great!!!!

Only happens in India I guess, where in a Music Fest (or so its called) you get to see a Auto Show, and buy your clothes too, great!!!

In terms of coverage on that promo I guess only 20% is about the Music fest... ;)

Did I ask you to?

Why so serious? :S

What do you expect me to say? You make a thread titled "Music in India = Fail" and then you expect us to understand that title without explaining anything and when we fail to do that you pinpoint at a spelling mistake, the reason for the creation of this thread . I'd say, This thread=fail :P

No offense. :P

But thanks anyways, I'll inform my friends in bangalore about this event. :)

Where does it say anywhere of it being a Music fest? It is being organized by Kingfisher, they do it every year, I guess. Music is just a part of it among many other things.

You actually get decent chicks at such an event and they were drunk(?), that alone makes it worth it :!

I thought it would be crap because the music there did not really look all that great.

Recipe for a good party

booze + music + chicks

too bad the last two tend not be all that well done here. We've still got a long way to go, but withevents like this maybe we'll get there eventually :)

IS this the official poster man ? I mean did the Kingfisher guys even read the stuff ...
"Is a great understatement of the century"{either say one of the or greatest ... comparative grammer) .. This is wrong on so many levels that i think its a fake ..
