Music phone in 10 to 15 K

Need to buy a mobile asap coz my old one's gone kaput.

My primary requirements:

1. Good music performance with atleast 4gb storage and preferably 3.5mm jackm coz I'll be using it as an mp3 player most of the time
2. Good GPRS Edge performance as I don't have broadband and will be connecting this to my comp for surfing and downloading
3. Preferably Nokia but anything else could also do if its good
4. Budget 10 to 15 thousand

u can also look for samsung i450 which is around 12.8k.

N81 8gb is around 15k.

Dont go for Samsung,LG etc.

Buy only Nokia or Sony ericsson.

Also i heard N81 has some serious build quality and battery problems.Is it true?

Check out ROKR E8 as well. Apparently, it has excellent music quality

Go for W890i (Mocha) - Awesome phone.Looks sexy...great cam,slim and its a Walkman phone so music is kickass.

That's what I've heard from various user reviews. With EP-630, The sound quality is supposed to very good.

For purely musical purposes, this one seems to be the best buy. It has an inbuilt storage of 2GB plus a microSD slot (which can hold upto 8GB).

Currently having the Samsung SGH i450 in hand, and i guess the phone is quite good. Looks good, sounds good and feels good. I have handled the N81 but i found this one to be better. I don't think Samsung phones are crap anymore, because i found the music quality to be really good. It has the requirements stated by you but has a 1GB MicroSD bundled. However, that can be increased through Micro SD card. 13K should be the price..

Else up your budget and get N82.

Don't go for N73 ME if you are particular about sound quality. Even with EP-630, I found the sound to be very ordinary.

Own the phone and it's pretty good. Excellent VFM! But the build quality isn't satisfactory...the music slider is faulty and the plastic wears off after a few months. But for this, it's pretty good...Decent cam + very good sound!

Planning to go in for N81 after all these recommendations. Just seems like a safe choice. Any1 know any major issue with that phone?
