Must-have Mac apps.

Although i'm a long time user of Macs, for the past one year i've been using more of windows and as such, haven't been as regular with the world of OS X as i was in the past. i've still been following apple news regularly but i've missed out on the releases of cool apps and utilities which can be considered 'must-haves' for anyone using OS X. after noticing quite a few mac users on this site, i thought i'd start a thread like the TE Essential freeware thread but for OS X of course to help us Mac fans.

i don't really want to restrict it to only freeware so all Mac afficionados, please post any OS X application that you think can go onto this list with a short description.

i'll start with...

1. Proteus - Proteusx.org || It's Coming... - Instant messaging client which connects to multiple networks like MSN, AIM, Yahoo and more. much better than the default clients imo.

2. Toast 7 Titanium - Roxio Toast 7 Titanium - CD & DVD Burning - Overview - One of, if not the best CD/DVD burning softwares for OS X.

3. Speed Download - Speed Download | The Ultimate Mac OS X download manager - Great download manager with Safari integration and speed acceleration.

4. Transmit 3.5 - Panic - Transmit 3 - The next-generation Mac OS X FTP client! - Very good FTP client.

5. Unison - Panic - Unison - Reinventing the Mac OS X Usenet newsreader! - If you like Usenet to grab some stuff ;)

i'll add to this list as i find/remember :)
 
Adium is nice too.

SuperDuper! is a great utility to backup your files.

OnyX is a great system maintainence and hidden system settings tool.
 
i really like

cocktail - system

igetter - download

virtue desktop - ultimate app

usb overdrive- mouse utility

clamxav - anti virus ( so as not to pass viruses on tp PC guys)
