PC Peripherals MX518 Paint Coming off

Guys my Mx518's paint has started to come off.

Its that soft touch thing thats coming out.

I had bought it 2 - 2.5 months back from SMC.

What to do? I doubt this would come under warranty, but its not suppose come out like this. :no:

Its a good brand, this is not suppose to happen. Soon the entire thing will start coming off. :no: :no:

Weird that its happening within 2¬3 months, usually the report said 6 months or so. Mine is also 3 months old and there is no problem (the mouse is being used for nearly 12¬14hrs a day, 4 hrs gaming in that).

Anyways take it to rashi, they'll replace it.

To be safe i use MX only for gaming. I increase pointer options to max to use normal mouse on desky :ashamed: . Clean both mouses with rubbing alcohol once in 15 days. Keeps it clean = better grip :cool2:
 
Where to buy rubbing alchohol from... hardware shop?

Isn't it the same stuff those paint guys use to clean-up?

It can also be used to clean thermal grease?

hopefully rashi ppl should not deny this.. cuz last time i went to rashi for my keyboard issue where the escape key literally escaped with the rubber holding. As usual they would say "Saarji, woh toh apke usage pe hai, itne chote praablem ke liya rma naahi hota hai" :@ :no:

looking at that post by gannu.. where the hell has he dissappeared?
