man ! i luv musical instrument shops ,they r like heaven ( n me a kid in a candy shop or rather a severe n**phomaniac in a br**hel)).

me n my pal (chaps been playing ever since he was 5 :O)
we went thru guitars in the range for around 5-8k!
there were options there were GBnA ,squire ,java ,indian brands like givson .
we selected a GBnA model for 6.5k n another for 7.5k. finally after another hour of my wild n crazy strumming the 6.5 one said "pick me",was also tempted to buy a squire jazz strat but was 9.5k :( 500 bucks too much for me )

i wanted the smallest wattage amp for my room (preferably with distortion ) cudnt find one as i aleardy spent 7k for the guitar n had only 2k every thing was so damn expensive nothing good less than 2.5
(again 500 too much )
out of the most unlikly places we say a wierd amp (more of a carpet box ) sounds OK ,BOSS-30wtts hope it last for atleast a year cud only afford that so bought it for 1.5k

so total damages for the Day 9k (including i gave myself n sammy a treat we had a couple of burgers n colas!)

she sounds damn good

will name her emily!
my acoustic named Roxane (she needs a bath though :ashamed: )

Congratulations. The guitar and amp will last you 2 years minimum. You might want to invest in an effects processor later. But I say, get your chops down now and the frills can come later.

Best of luck.

Congrats on the buy there m8
@gannu
cm n l33t?
since when? i have a bloody 590 n i am mighty ashamed of having it. :ashamed:

Insult to the beautiful instrument there ;)

Congrats! Look like you're having fun. I was a complete noob with the acoustic for years but I was excited when I bought my electric close to a year back. I still consider myself to be a noob! :P

The amp doesn't look like an original BOSS. The sound is whats important. How is it? I have the Roland Cube 15X and I totally love it. Have fun and be sure to record some stuff for us to hear!

'Cause it's not. It's an indian made BOSS. Also, AFAIK BOSS don't manufacture amps & cabinets.

Oh ya. Not sure why I confused Marshall with Boss.... :bleh: Boss products are Roland-made so they are related. What was I thinking :P *goes to bed*

The cm sticker was only used to hide the Givson logo!

PS: I luv my medusa (my cm 600) she hasnt turned to stone yet.

i wish i cud get some tattoos or such stuff to stick on em ,i wont stick anything on my electric she's so damn shiny!

yep the amp is a local one i think its actually made of animal hide!

but sounds ok and also i cant afford anything new right now so have to keep it!

any tips on maintenance most welcomed . :0

Congrats. Keep her safe and well and she'll reward you with many years of playing. Clean it after and before every session with a dry cloth, wipe down the strings and an electric is practically maintenance free for most of its life. Don't worry about the low cost, this hobby is much more about skill than equipment anyway.

hmm, I always want to have one guitar, learn it.. I am music lover..

Whenever I get money, I think about other things like upgrading PC and blah blah..

Congratz for Electric baby :bleh:

looks cuul !!
