Great write-up! And since u wanted some criticism, here goes... maybe you could tone down a language just a weee bit, cuz when i started reading i thought it was going to be some philosophical expression of your sentiments, rather than a mountain-trekking anecdote, and that "lightning" might be a metaphor of sorts...
But then maybe its just me, short-attention span that i have ... Not everybody can carry off that kind of language with the flair as you have...
