I lost my 4.1ghz stable OC...:( It was stable with 3870x2 but since i switched to gtx295 i can get it max stable at only 3.89Ghz

Now Its the power supply which is bottle necked ................
(exactly the rails the amps it can provide upto)

Im also having the same problem When I overclock My core i7 to 4.2ghz
I cannot run any game or any graphics benching tool...............................
with my GTX280 at 691c/1458s/1260m..........
The Graphics driver stops working

Now Im thinking of Installing two SMPS in my cab to divide the power to 2 UPS
So that no reset when power goes (Not yet)

id love it if you could tell me the qpi volts / dram volts / vtt volts please :) and also what are your idle/load/ambient temps if possible...

Wow Man ur rig is a mammoth & the config is a superkiller ........

And the voltages were Strange and set to the highest level
In bios
cpu -1.42
Cpu vtt-1.600
Qpi-1.50
dram-1.6450

But i really want to make a world record (Some thing like that).....................

Now that won't be easy , people on XS etc don't care if they loose chip .. leave alone caring for vcore etc . :bleh: but best of luck .
 
Vivek how is the F7c bios compared to F4,F5 in terms of oc and volt req for oc's....i m currently using F4 so F7c will be good ....

One thing man u have really applied the D0 stepping

For the Q

I dont know how it works with D0 ,But i have heard that the 7 series bios for UD5 is really optimized for D0...................

&&& F7d is also out but is not stable as F7c

superb overclocking but high temps.why don't u go for a water cooling solution to get better performance,stability and cool proccy!??

how much money need to spend on cooling for running I7 for 2 to 10 days non stop @ hightest power ??
I already have A.C in my room what would be the other expensives ??

@ highest power or frequency u need water cooling

thats all i now don't have Liq cooling but in near future i will ...............

The frequency r all just for the time being ,i have not really done any heavy benchmarking.
