i use a 64 kbps sify unlimited connection(yes its 64 kbps:ashamed: )2-3 days back i had some net problems ..and then everything was set back to normal by that sify guy..and i could surf all the sites..like before ..after tweaking my firefox (sbout:config) settings ..but the techenclave site just refused to open i thought it was again my net problem but of of the member told me that the TE site was down....
i had some net problems even after that..and again today my net was restored ..
i can manually ping to the gateway and log in through the sify client also when i ping to the local gatway i get reply within 1 second.
also the expected download speed of 8kbps is achieved on this 64 kbps connection,,,,,but my problem is that the TE site takes too long to open before it would open on the click of a button within2-3 seconds...but now sometimes it just hangs or takes around 20-25 seconds or sometimes even arnd 2-3 mins to open the TE threads ..i dont knw weather the problem is with my NET . mozilla or my contact with TE servers.
so guys please please help me out to ..surf on TE the way i did before..now due to this problem ..i feel very irrtated when the threads/pages dont open or take too too long to open...
can u all just tell me what the problem can be ?is there any problem or some work going on the TE servers ?
note: other sites do open quickly-eg-orkut,megagames,yahoo mail and even a few other forums when tested opened within 7-10 seconds.
