just a different question , why flash ?how about adding a HTML version to people who would like that , it is probably just me but i am not a fan of flash sites , also search engines dont index them higher than html , so if you are freelancing either shift to html or add a version of it

then i would simply say why not java scripting?

it is soothing than flash with tons of free scripts available on net from styles/decorations to useful stuffs..

We will be making an HTML Version also and an iOS version too soon.
 
1. Mouse trail is indeed distracting. At least tone it down a bit. It completely blocks the <Back> link.

2. Sounds like the music is copyright protected. In that case, you cannot use it just like that for free or you may run into legal hassles somewhere down the line.

3. Give an option to turn off the music. It's soothing and all but is distracting after a while. After all, you are marketing designing services not meditation services.

4. Might try looking to have alternative 'low bandwidth' and 'high bandwidth' sections. I feel some areas may be heavy on slow connections.
 
There is a small button below the logo to turn off the music. The music is copyright, but we have emailed the authors and asked them for permission. If not we will switch to something else. The gallery is a bit slow too load, trying to figure it out.
 
I would reduce the colour depth on the tail. The idea is nice but the execution is a little too much.

Who did the IA design on those customer sites, or did you do it on your own?
 
I use firefox and have the necessary addon's installed. Java script is disabled and so is flash. This helps me protect against viruses and prevents unnecessary flash media from being played. I enabled flash just to see the design. It is good. But normally, i would just hit the close tab instead of changing the flash controls.

Hey I think you have changed the trail a bit since morning and now it seems ok

But the home page is not so informative in first sight

Add a bit of info on homepage too

And just keep the trail on homepage not on other pages
 
The trail has been made thinner and hopefully better. We are planning on adding a bit of text to the main page. I agree the trail is a bit distracting, I will try and add an option to disable trail.
 
the text that comes when you hover over tags thing is bit light/bright...make it bit more legible..something more like dark outline for text :)
