I am getting most of the parts from Singapore throught a, erm..., contact......

2 x 1 GB DDR-400 Hynix :(
BGF 7800GTXOC 460/1300 :hap2:
4 x 120 GB Samsung SATA 7200 R.P.M. RAID-0 :(
*1 x 80 GB Samsung PATA 7200 R.P.M. as backup drive
*8x LITEON DVD+RW SOHC-832S
*8x MSI DVD+RW burner which somehow conked out earlier and now works
680 W ASPIRE Monster Power ATX-AS680W-BL ATX12V/ EPS12V
*Razer Diamondback Plasma :hap2:
*Razer eXactMat
*Razer eXactRest :(
19" PHILIPS Flat

The * before the name indicates that I had that part from before. I hope I put the right parts together.

ma ki...... wah 4400 will be nice........ make sure to overclock each core to atleast 2.6 GHz. then that baby will scream!!! :D

i think it will end up costing around US$1500. monitor everything inclusive.
 
Why dont you research a bit on Thermaltake Giant Series........... I read somewhere (i think NewEgg) that those coolers reach near watercooled performance. But they are loud. But hey, when is noise such a big problem.

I am think of getting a large Server cabinet like FunkyMonkey and put my new rig in there. I am just waiting for fast scope madness on 19" monitor :D

Ok, actually chances of getting an AMD X2 4400+ right now are slim,

Can any1 get me good Coolers for my Pentium D 820? 775 Socket ofcourse.
 
i am not concerned about capacity....... i am more looking forward to RAID-0 madness. i will be getting like 160 MBps HDD max transfer rate. that means a windows boot up time of like 10 secs.... with all drivers loaded. I just like zippy performance. + I do a LOT of other things besides games. Like run 10 Linux OS installations simultaneously inside VMWare 5. I do a lot of networking, coding and stuff. So need a powerful rig. Next upgrade will be another 7800GTX to complete my SLI setup and probable MB/CPU/RAM overhaul to AMD M8/and DDRnG 2 GB. Lets see..........
 
Na re....... u dont know how many days I had to explain the need for the upgrade to my Dad. I had to give up changing my ISP to BSNL Dataone (80 ping all day long at measly 500 bucks) to get this rig. I think once I get the rig i will start on the BSNL propaganda again :D

Abe humji, you have a X800XL already. Why you intersted in a 9800XT ? (its a XT not PRO) I am gonna sell it on ebay.in. Buy it there YO!

yea its AGP......... 5K :D is the price........ otherwise i save it for my Son's first PC. For playing PacMan 2013. :D

BTW, Karan thats a nice config :D

Some changes :

Get the BenQ 1640 16x DVD Writer.
Get better memory like OCZ or Corsair instead of Hynix.
 
BTW wait for the release of R520, it would be absolutely stupid to invest in a top end card before checking the competition. Also try to source a DFI Lan party board, will OC very sweetly, and get some better RAM mate !!! With an unednding budget as yours get something in the leagues of OCZ VX gold, or Mushkin Redline series...

Also whas the price of 4000+ SD ? Its a much better idea to go for X2 proccys if you have a high budget.

And yes carry on your discussions on Mssengers.
