Laptops need 2 get a new laptop...suggestions plz

Compaq n Hcl(sucks too) i guess..... around 35k u can start getting Dells.

n Acer is pretty good VFM IMO.

ACER sucks????? Now thats news to me!!

Dude..2 years with an Acer and never a need for it to see the face of a service center..And ya..no issues with performance..Go figure!

arre sumbody has ACER laptop in my bldg....its bloody speakers conked off.....also its looks quite shitty.....not happy wit da build quality....

plz tel me wat r da imp things i shud look for while buyin a lappy within 35k ??

Yeaa true even i agree with tht ACER SUX my frnz,cousins hav been using it and they temme how bad acer it,while on da move wen u in a train or sumthing it gets restarted,screen gets blured,within a week or 2 webcam stopped working and service centre people said u need to send it to delhi and it will take atleast 15 days to fix da prblm this is turlly pathetic :bleh: and many other issues so dont go for Acer,i hav been using HP since last 1 yr its not de best but at da same time its not as bad as Acer,well i dont think for 30-35 k u will b able to get Dell!soo Hp/Compaq is da only decent brand which u can consider!

Acer isn't exactly shitty ,,however, the fit, finish and overall quality to leave a lot to be desired.... (leave the premium lines like ferrari apart)

Same holds true for Dell to a little lesser degree(Inspirons)

my frnd got a toshiba laptop frm da states for under 20k.....da fit, finish & quality is way way more better den ACER....also da screen quality is unbelievable

U can get Dell.. The service is best in the country & prices are also reasonable.

Acer doesn't suck man...just becos 1 or 2 does the rest doesn't. even i thought so but now i am usin one. 4520 for 33.5k only with amd athlon 64 x2, 1GB Ram,160 GB HDD....superb lappy
