Recently switched to zebronics woodan cabinet, would like to get a couple of 80mm fans.
I cant find any branded ones.
I was able to find some postings on amazon

1) Fourdot 80mm
These come with following types of connectors

2)Electronics 80mm
these are effectively half the price of above fans and come with this 2 pin cinnector that i have never seen irl before.

Is this compatible with 3/4 pin fan headers present in motherboard.

Should i go to local shops to buy?
Are these fans any good or they are there just for peace of mind?
If you guys know about some better alternatives ,do lemme know.

Fourdot all the way. Get the PWM 4 pin one.
I m planning to run 2 or 3 of them from a deepcool fan hub, will they support pwm mode if ran thru it?
The hub will be connected from a pwm supporting header on motherboard.

How is the noise and airflow at max speed.

are fourdot fans any good though? i have never used them personally so no firsthand experience.
i am asking bcz i need a 92mm fan and Arctic has no stock for them here. so i was planning to get a 3d print bracket for 92mm to 80mm conversion and use an Arctic P8 then.

I ordered 80mm fans and they shipped 92mm ones and I attached the pictures here. Though I never tested the 92mm ones because I returned it, the quality were surprisingly good and not having a cheap feel. I am using the 80mm pwm 4 pin version and are working fine.

oh that's good to hear. how is the noise performance at lower RPMs? i mean little loud is fine especially at higher levels, I just don't want them screaming even at lower rpms

noise performance at lower RPMs?
I am using the 2x 80mm at a very low speed (lowest preset from my motherboard), and it's at arms' reach; I cannot hear the fan sound. Obviously, it's very loud at full speed. I tried taking a video with sound but the ambient sound noise does not do justice, so better not see that.

Well these are real ball bearing Fans not those pesky sleeve bearing fans. At low RPMs you wont notice anything (dont expect noctua and/or arctic) . However these are industrial grade fans and when they go....they go. They are gonna last you a long time. Also I have these fans in big stablizers (talking 15-20KVA), big inverters, bug electrical panels, network boxes you name it. My NAS, one of my PCs. I just bought few high RPMs one just to have fun and I wasn't disappointed....I will just say that a lot of fun was had.....and then some.

It's been like 4 yrs that i started using these fans and my first impression was not good as i got 3 fans with 1 fin of every fan broken which i then returned thinking not to order again. But then i again bought thinking lets try one more time and after that i liked them for my every purchase.
At one point they had 140mm fan also but they discontinued it, don't know why?
After that been recommending these here and i guess lot of you liked it.

Has anyone here tried the Four Dot 120mm 3000/4000 RPM PWM fans? I'm wondering if they would be a good fit for my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Turbo, or if they'd be better suited for use as cabinet fans. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated

Yes, infact have quite a few of them. Using them as cabinet fans as well as on one of the air cooler too.

Try and check if you can get the Arctic P8 PWM fans or the noctua fans. The arctic P8 fan is cheap but is well built and has been serving me well for 3 years now. Hard to come by but dealers should be able to arrange it if you want 5 qty or more.
