My friends needs a Android a Phone under 20K
At the moment have selected these phones
Atrix 2
HTC Desire V, one v,
Sony Xperia Arc s,xperia sola,

Please suggest a phone that us robust and may get official future OS updates also

A: 20k

2. Q: Preferred Form Factor(flip, bar, slider)?
A: Touch, Bar

3. Q: Preferred display type?
A: TFT

4. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: Don't want a Nokia or Samsung Phones
5. Q: Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen

6. Q: Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: 5 MP camera atleast withy Flash

7. Q: Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Android
8. Q: Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: 3G, wi fi

9. Q: What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: Mail, Internet, Gaming
10. Q: Any other requirements?
A: good service centers
11. Q: If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Atrix 2, Arc s , Sola

Sony Xperia Sola will surely get ICS and hopefully Jelly Bean as well.
Atrix 2 is a very good phone. However, the update to ICS has been slow and it is not certain whether it will receive a Jelly Bean update. Moreover, Motorola is winding up its business in India so the phone will have less re-sale value than the others. HTC Desire V is one of the best Dual SIM phones in the market but that is it. Its processor is weaker than the others since its single core plus the graphics processor(adreno 200) is also pretty weak.
Sony Xperia Arc S looks good but again it is a single core processor and is also outdated.
So, Xperia Sola is what you should look at if you want a decent phone with future OS updates.
