21-30k Need a basic general purpose laptop for browsing and MS Office use

Someone I know needs a laptop and has shortlisted the following. Which one do you think is worth spending for?

Toshiba C850 :

Acer 431 :

I got http://www.flipkart.com/asus-x54c-s...QEAM&ref=459bbee2-2303-4c62-a127-4be2d00a9f10 for 21500 from nehru place with bag and mouse. I added another 4GB stick for just 1250 bucks.
Pros : good build, doesn't look cheap, nice battery backup, nice touchpad with gestures
cons: keyboard has flex and speakers are bad

There are few models with i3 like Acer 5733 @ 24k add a 4gb and you are good to go.

Isn't the B950 better than the i3-370M in terms of heat dissipation and performance.
