Car & Bike need a car for 7 lakhs

^^Personally, I don't like even stereos to be pre-fitted. I like to be able to fit the accessories in my budget catering to my exact requirements.
 
^^ thing is my comp. is paying for the car(just the car not accessories bought separately). So why spend extra ??
 
I think the Skoda Fabia is the costliest small car. But lots of people on team-bhp have complained about Skoda's expensive maintenance.

If your company is bearing maintenance costs, a Fabia can be considered. Otherwise, you can consider a fully loaded Getz, Swift or Palio.

Note that people have complained about availability of Palio replacement parts. Even replacing a door lock has proved problematic. Maybe some palio owners here can comment.

Get a Getz or Palio..

Or maybe the Chevy SRV...

No point in recommending a Fabia,if spares are that expensive !

I second that :cool2: . The car looks so damn ugly. If it wasn't for the maruti badge, no one would've given it a second glance. Just goes to show you how important after sales service is in the auto industry.

So finally after careful consideration,decided to go for ford fiesta.Wanted a small car but at that price range only small car available is palio and since it's rather expensive to maintain, decided to go for fiesta.

I badly need a gps unit and wanted to know if this is any good.

Also suggest a decent audio system for my car.(would like to plug my ipod so should have the req. port) Also state the cost of such a system.
