need a DIGI CAM

Bought this one recently on 30th dec.

Sony DSC S500 (Cybershot series,6.1 Megapixel,3x optical zoom)-10,990 (3 yrs warranty ).
got it for 10,000
good camera ,decent pics
1gb card-2620

Total-12620
I think this is a great buy in entry level category .

will make review shortly.

Saw Cannon A540 .Not impressed:no: .The pics are not so good.It comes with a one year warranty. Thec LCD is bit blurry.

Best thing is to go for the shop and judge yourself.
 
it also depends what will be the main usage of the camera...whether it is going to be used within buildings for clicking ppl or is it gona be used for nature photography....so for nature photography i would anyday recommend the Cano... rest is up to you to try and see
 
^^^i ont have any idea. you guys only have to decide the best one for me.
usage will be both indoor and outdoor

1. Nikon Coolpix L1
2. Sony DSC S500
3. kodak v603
4. canon A540

I dont know the prices though. please list the prices of above mentioned modelsl
Please suggest the best one considering my budget is 10k.

I wud discard the Kodak coz it uses proprietary batteries :p
Sony will work out expensive as well i think (not sure) .. and if u choose Sony, get the original Mem Stix only.. grey pieces are so not worth it.

I've used the L1 and its gr8. It lacks a Viewfinder thats there on the Canon though. Hope ur search is a li'l simplified now :p

Havnt got any shop to purchase the digi cam.

guys, please tell the reliable shop addresses where i can get the it in lesser price also.

also need an AC charger for ipod nano 2GB. any shop?? also the price??

please help me guys. I am new to bangalore.
