@greenhorn: i bought it for 1.1k about two months back ..

oye roman check it at ur local shop and haggle a bit ,u may get it for 1k and its a kb+mouse combo . I have been using it for two months havent faced any issue mouse is decent enough .. as good as a regular optical mouse .And one more thing the combo comes with duracell batteries , i havnt changed them yet ..

basically i will be using it as a device through which i will operate my sys from a distance of say 200m.....so i just wanted to know whether...this mouse will e operational in that range or not.....

200 meters? are you sure you want to operate your PC from 200 meters away?

did you mean 20m or 200m :O , if 200'm then i'm sure you would need a set of binoculars to see the monitor :bleh:...on a more serious note if its REALLY 200'm :ashamed: then what u need are a bunch of routers / access pts. yet another PC for RDC.

if you indeed to use the mouse for presentations on a large audience or something like that then you would be better of with something like this....

RF Wireless Presenter - Keyboard, Mouse and Laser: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo
Laser Pointer with 200m emission range
....look out for the same in the USA and get the same via KMD, but then again kbb/ mouse funtionality is limited to 25m

I purchased a Logitech cordless mouse for Rs 1150 from Ritchie street some 4 months back. It is having a duracell AA battery in it.

I dont use it often.. use it only when I get tired of the touchpad on the lappy..:)

Range: I am sure that you wont get 200 m with tat :bleh:

Logitech 110x it's a Keyboard+Mouse set for 1350/- if u don't like the keyboard you can put it on sale.

Logitech 100x keyboard+mouse comes in 950/- but I think it's out of stock, in mumbai at least.

goes iwth ur avtaar too !! ;)

go for logitech or microsoft. I find less clicking noise in microsoft mice.
neway, if u want cheaper one, u can try i-ball. but I fear, it might consume more batteries...so the running cost would be higher. just what I think.
don't even look at Intex.
