Need phone for my maternal aunty.

1. Q: Budget?
A: 6k Max - Cannot go over, cheaper the better

2. Q: Preferred Form Factor (flip, bar, slider)?
A: Bar

3. Q: Preferred display type?
A: Any

4. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: Nokia preferred mostly, but other options can be considered

5. Q: Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: NO QWERTY and NO Touchscreen, only normal keypad

6. Q: Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Not necessary

7. Q: Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Anything

8. Q: Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: Don't Care

9. Q: What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: Normal call receiving and dialing, music and FM radio. GPRS /EDGE will never be used.

10. Q: Any other requirements?
A: Antenna should be very good to get signals in low signal areas too.

11. Q: If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Not really as am confused but even if the phone costs 2K with features required then i am fine, cheaper the better.

Also suggest from where to buy will be my best best with the best discount

Got one for my dad last month. He likes it very much :) Default theme makes viewing difficult. Changed to C6 like whitish background theme like all new nokia mobiles. Visibility has improved a lot. SQ also rocks and for ~3.3k after discount pretty cheap too.

Ok just got to know that her school (she works in a school) is going to pay for the phone and max budget is 5000 rupees so she wants to buy something in that range.

no, i meant the 5310, the older slimmer version..as someone said the production is already stopped..

it was also in gsm arena top 15 looong after the production was stopped.

Ok so decided on Nokia X2 and primarily because it has wireless FM, the Blue and silver colour one. Please suggest best place to buy it and best price i could get, even if ebay is an option with coupons it will be ok. Flipkart says out of stock.

^^ hope u r saying about the x2-00 & NOT the lesser/newer x2-01 ..so did u ultimately get it?... from where & for how much?
how do this mobile perform,particularly in the battery dept & the camera dept...which is often regarded as its weak areas....are these issues within limits or extremely bad? (* i have a android/defy & know how bad battery charge can go)

plz reply asap, coz mayb i'will buy a pice by today itself!
