Title. I live in Hyderabad, and I've gone to third-party repair shops and official service centers, but no dice. I don't have any friends with older AMD CPUs either, so basically I'm completely ****ed. Any help or solutions would be appreciated, especially if it doesn't involve shipping the mobo somewhere.

Please help.

Feel free to ask questions.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Sid

Try checking out some local Facebook PC groups — I’ve seen quite a few Ryzen 3000 CPUs listed there recently. If you post about your BIOS update issue, someone might be willing to lend you a compatible CPU just for the update. Definitely worth a shot!

Had the same issue a while back new mobo, but no way to update BIOS without an older CPU.

I Ended up posting in a local FB group and surprisingly found a guy nearby willing to help for free (shoutout to him!). Also, DentFuse (Idk how to @ people XD) is right, The AMD loaner program used to be a thing, worth checking if they still support it here.

Don’t lose hope, man. Local community can really come through in moments like this.

Hello all, thank you for all the advice. A contact from one of my local hobby groups came in clutch with a specialist shop's contact yesterday, and I was able to go there today and get the PC serviced. As it turned out, the motherboard did in fact come with an updated BIOS, but both the RAM and PSU were faulty. I bought new RAM sticks on the spot and swapped out the GPU for a spare GT 710, and the system works fine now. I will be running the GT 710 for a while, since there's not going to be any gaming, and will probably buy a new PSU at the end of the month. Thanks again for your help!
