PC Peripherals Need a SMPS!!

I need a SMPS for the following rig:

Intel Core2quad Q6600 @2.40GHz

Asus P5QL-EM

UMAX 2GB*2 DDR2 800

Seagete 500GB Sata HDD

1 LG DVD RW

XFX NVIDIA 8800GT 512mb DDR2

19" Sony Moniter

I will also be buying a 1TB HDD soon..

kindly tell me how much watts need for Smps ??

 
You can buy these -

Tagan TG-500-U37 - Max Power upto 600W - 3475/-

Tagan TG-600-U37 - Max Power upto 700W - 4150/-

Corsair VX450W - 4100/-
 
OMG :S y do u need 750W for dat rig....Corsair VX450 is enuff...or go for VX550 to be futureproof :hap2:

vx450 - 4100
vx550 - 5900 (not sure)

True, u dont need need 1W more than 550W for tht rig

Go for VX550 if u got cash to spare, else VX450 will rock.

Maximum that you will be drawing is around 250W @ load. Any good PSU with at least 400W and 28A on 12V rails will do. Entry level I will suggest CM 460W extreme power plus @ around 2.6K. I you want quality and more stability, get Corsair VX450 minimum. And unless you plan to get a dual-GPU solution, there is no need to go beyond 550W PSU

hey guys sorry to bump in the thread but since this thread has got a really good response & i have a similar question>>which PSU???
my config:--
mobo :-asus M3A78-EM
proccy:-phenom II x3 720 will over clock it from 2.8 to 3.5
ram :-2gb x2 sticks =4gb 800mhz
gxf cd:- plait hd 4850 (6 pin)
HDD :-1 x 320gb segate
dvd :1 x samsung
cpu cooler :-CCF 120mm
fans :3 x 120mm front /back /for proccy & 2 x 80mm on side panel
wil never use crossfire
 
same answer, VX450. :P,

Actually even a CX400 or a CM460 (RealPower) the one currently adorning the TE Portal reviewed by JayMathers, will also be perfectly fine for this config.

but i used the power supply calculator says that the power needs are more
than 450w thats when i over clock th proccy
has any one hered about tagan 500w or some othe psu that is around 3.4ks??

get a VX450 or a Tagan TG500. Get VX550 if u can spend some more bucks.

Tagan TG500 this PSU might be in my budget as i know its price is less
than 4k ,but does any one know its exact price????????
