Need Advice for Buying a NEW PC: 50k (S/W development)

Help me to build the best machine/Multi Tasking
Q: What is your budget?
50K

Q: What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)

Q: Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)

Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.

CPU - Intel Core i5 2500K OR Intel Core i7 2600K(Advice ? Do you really think that i7 is required or i5 will suffice as there is huge difference in terms of Money then performance..)

Motherboard: Intel DP67BG / Asus P8P67 Pro / Gigabyte GP-P67A-UD4 ( But I am confused as i have gone through various threads in this forum and found that no one recommended Intel DP67BG--though as per specification I found it to be highly efficient--just a query ?-- though for me anything with high compatibilty and fast will be best)

Monitor - Samsung P2350

If you dont play the latest and greatest games then you can opt for a HD5770 ~ 6.8k + Corsair VX450 ~ 3.4k
 
will he benefit from hexacore in developement,

if yes,then you can think of amd hexacore.

also i suggest you increase RAM further as it may help your dev. work.
 
No point in going for PhenomII X6 now as it will be EOLed in 2 months from now. Wait for the Bull dozer if possible or stick to Intel SB.

AnandTech - Bench - CPU - 2500K vs 1100T BE

When OCed the difference would be even higher since i5 2500K can reach higher clocks compared to the PhenomII X6 1100T BE
 
Unless your software is highly threaded(or the tools for making it are), you won't benifit from the Core i7 2600k, and as you plan to overclock, the perfect CPU for you would be:

Core i5 2500k

Also, I would get a Z68 motherboard, as the price difference between the suggest P67 board and Z68 boards(i read another forum member write this) is about 2k.

bulldozer keeps getting pushed back for launch and still no benchmarks.

i am kind of loosing patience on amd bulldozer.

better it be good.
