Here's what I'd recommend you to go with for a 35k budget.

2x2GB Ram would be sufficient for the usage.

Go for the XMS3 Kit as suggested by CoverSpark and the rest of the build as recommended by l33t.
 
Here's the catch guys :

VM-Ware Building 101

1.More cores = Increased Performance + More Memory = Smoother Interface

-This is because when multiple OSes are emulated into the rig the net performance of the machine dies down , so going beefy on the hardware helps for an overall increase in functionality. So that means getting a 955BE over 1055T (The cost difference is about 1.5 grand) is a much wiser option than settling for a 4 core.

-More RAM will always come in handy when there is a memory intensive task is being performed in multiple layers.

I hope that answers the reason why I recommended 1055T + 8GB RAM

Also , the GPU ,the 5670 @ 512MB will be more than enough for gaming at 1366x768 / Since I game with the exact same combo , the OP might have better FPS since he's on a better chip than Iam on, also if the OP feels that the 1920IN is a bit too small , then the Samsung B2030 will do a good job by delivering almost similar frames.period.

Are you into pyrotechnics or something ? :P The Ph II is a 125W Chip?(correct me if i'm wrong) + 5770 -I think you'll be in for some fireworks with that combo, once an year goes by.

True it is 125 W I think more than that it'll be a furnace in there or Sydney harbor front New Year fireworks :bleh:

Why 2*500GB instead of 1TB ? Reliability?

You could have gone for a 1TB and put the extra money and got a HD5750 for ~6.5k.
 
Congrats mate , Sensible buy ! Although yes, I'd like to ask , why not a 6 core when you could squeeze one in the budget ? :ashamed:

RAM Prices seem to be at a higher end in hyderabad , or is it because it was a single 4 gig stick ?

I'm guessing the same, although the OP needs to be load an OS on both the drives or the MBR settings might start acting funny or probably raid options led him to get 2*500gigs ?

I have a aimilar set-up we don't need to install OS on both the HDD's, reliability is improved and the RAID angle steps in.

hi congrats for your purchase. how is the LG monitor. when i visited the shop the guy told me that it is good led monitor.so i am thinking of buying this one. so what Is your thought on this.
 
@DarkAngel: I bought the other HDD for the older system whose HDD went busted :)

Also 5750 was more than 7.5K here :(. Hyderabad is a bit expensive. Also I wanted to buy FSP Saga II, but none at the main shops in CTC knew about it. In fact some people denied if any such brand even exists.

@bsd: Monitor is good. Looks nice. Still to test it in intense gaming.

GPU prices seem expensive. :( Other prices are ok. Prices way cheaper from TE dealers in Mumbai and Delhi!!

For FSP PSU's go to ARUN COMPUTERS which is adjacent CD World ask anyone where CD world is and you'll find it. Hope this helps.
 
ASUS motherboards are generally in their price range at par with Gigabyte in terms of build and features but Gigabyte wins in the case of A.S.S. here in India, did not stop me from getting the ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO and it has never let me down.

Thanks for the info. All in all it means that both CX400 and CX430 give equal power but the built of CX400 is better.

Thanks for the info. All in all it means that both CX400 and CX430 give equal power but the built of CX400 is better.
