I need to upgrade my PC and my budget is 30k i dont need a monitor/keyboard/mouse i just need to upgrade my processor, mobo, cabby & ram, its been 2 yrs since i've not upgraded my PC i feel the need to do soo since Mudbox 1.5 has been released and it requires heavy rendering and processing also wana play some next gen games, I've done some research and these are the one i've finalized and yeah my room temp is really really hot around 34 degree its more than 34 during day time :(

Amd 4800 X2 / C2D E6320

Gigabyte 690G /XFX 650I

Zebronics Jamaica + cooler master extreme 600w

Corsair value ram

Let me tell you from the things you stated. Get E 4300 processor both are not providing VFM now. Mobo XFX 650i SLi gr8 Oc mobo. Cabby + PSU seems k . Instead of opting for Corsair Ram get Kingston Value. They are good Oc'er than COrsair :)

im planning to get the 8800 Ultra but thats gona be later around november when UT3 launches by the time i'll work wth my 1600 pro

Well first can you tell us if you plan to OC or not.

Cause if you dont plan to OC then get the E6320/E6600 depending in your budget, else if you do plan on OC'in get the E4300.

XFX 650i is ofcourse a great choice :)

As deepak said, if you intend to overclock then get E4300 and XFX 650i Ultra, I have myself bought this combo with Kingston Value RAM a couple of days ago.

E4300 + XFX 650i Ultra + 2GB RAM + 8600GT

5k + 6k + 4k + 8.5k

Some cabbie, Zebbie Antibiotic + Zebbie 540W/640W PSU / Powersafe 500W.

I plan to overclock it but my room temp restricts me frm overclocking anything i have a budget of 30k and i dont plan to get a new powersupply since its been only 3 months since i got it and its serving me pretty good

You are self contradicting yourself here, do u plan to OC or not? Midly maybe? Go with what Aditya suggested then.

well anything above 65 at load for a proccy is bad...so watch out for that, else u r good to go :hap2:

i dont know of exact room temps but here my room is hot direct sunlight !! and am sure its 45 in the day time these days. and i have stayed long enough in bombay to tell you one dam thing its not as hot as delhi it. ehhh. so get what adi suggested you and 2.4 2.5 ghz should be no problem.

my room temp is exactly 51 degree since there is only 1 window for ventilation and 2 celin fans both are sucky :( this is day time temp at nite it goes down to 45 degree its very hot in my room no place for AC also so i need some crazy ass cooling system

Then don't OC till the summer goes away, simple :)

Cooler won't help much as the temp can not go below the ambient room temp which is already pretty high.

lol... What are you talking about mate. :P The highest recorded temperature in India is 50.6 deg C in Alwar, Rajasthan in 1955. 2 minutes outdoors in that kind of temperature is enough to give you a severe sunstroke. I had experienced a temperature of 49 deg (outdoor) temperature once and in under 2 min blood came out of my nose. Room temperatures never go that high. The max it can go is 37~39 deg. The more common room temp range in a hot summer is 33~36 deg C. To have a room temperature of 51 deg, you must be having a out door temperatures around the 70~80 deg mark.

Its incredibly hot around my place here due to the heat wave in the north and the room temperatures must be around the 36~37 deg C. My E6600 over-clocked to 3.0 GHz (25% over clock) is being cooled by a Cooler Master GeminII with 2 x 120mm Fans rated at 90 CFM and the idle temperature is 39 deg C while the load temperature when running Orthos stress test is around the 55~56 deg mark. I have also arranged 3 more 120 mm fans and 3 x 80mm fans in my Jamaica. The temperatures stay well with in the acceptable limits.

All you need is a good CPU Cooler like the Thermalright Ultra 120 or Cooler Master GeminII and you should be able to lay your hands on either one of these for a similar (sub 3k) price if you are in the North India (Delhi or some place close). Also Jamaica or similar cabinet with a decent number of 120mm fans would do wonders.

45C??? Room Temp...

Are you crazy?

The Shade temps outside in Mumbai are below 40C. Dont tell me your room temp. is higher.

51C is kinda overkill isnt it?

cuz i was in dubai earlier and its like a desert there, temps over there are like 48-49C....

its not possible tht u have 51C room temp! :S :S :S

my gfx card stop responding when it reaches 57 degree entire system stop responding when the temp reaches 60 degree
