What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between)

15.6" desktop replacement

Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell)

Will prefer HP/Dell/Lenevo

Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.)

good screen quality, less heat and noise, 1GB gpu preffered

Both the above deals have a LED display, where did you see a LCD panel.
Also the ultra low voltage CPU's are considered good for saving battery. So whats bad in it?
 
I really hope that the laptops launched with 4Gen CPU's have 900p as standard display with a cheap upgrade to 1080p. Enough of 1366x768 on 15 inch screens!
 
but Dell Inspiron 15 3521 heats up and fan is noisy...

I already have vaio cb45 from 1 year but want to replace it bcoz of noisy fan and heat.
