Hi all, my friend wanted to buy a headphone so asking for your expert advice.

Price range: <4K
Brand: Any
For purpose: Gaming, Music and Movies
Mic: YES (required)
Should be comfortable

Sennheiser is a very good company that makes HP for music, they have one headset in your price range

Search on google for the reviews there are plenty

Finally, if you dont need the mic so badly, you can opt for a headphones, which have better sound quality than any gaming headset, you can buy a tabletop mic for as low as 300 these days
 
Razer carcharias should be apt for you. You must know that most audiophile grade headphones don't carry mic. You can also opt for a good non mic headphone and buy a separate clip on mic such as Zalman clip on mic (look out in amazon).
 
I have a AD700 which is perfectly apt for your requirements , PM me if interested in buying the same .
 
I wish i had posted here before buying my headphone nice offers are rolling but, my friend wants a first hand headphone (he is not interested in 2nd hand ones itseems -unlucky him)

Did not know about this, a good tip.

I'm on the same budget and looking for a headset (need mic) to go with Xbox/PS3 and PC. Can be wired but atleast 8-10 feet of wiring.

Try Tritton AX pro but it will cost u twice the money but can be used for PC, X60 and PS3...
but still checking with my friend which one he wants.. going through reviews now
