Hello Every One :)

Don't know if its the write place to start the thread or not but it AudioZone Right :p

I am thinking of starting learning guitar so after a research i think i should start with Ascotric Guitar as a beginner !

now the most important question is that where so i buy the Guitar From ?

how to choose a right guitar and all that stuff !

at my current place i don't have a shop selling guitars, so i think i should go for online.

some of my friends suggest that i should travel to hydrabad for a buy as its near and also much cheaper then that what i will fine in pune or mumbai ! can some one please shed some light on this ?

i am in latur right now.

my budget is 5k. +- Rs.500.:angelic:

i was checking this following sites but really confused on if i should buy it from them or not and which one is good for a starter :

1 ) http://www.snapdeal.com/product/cardinal-39-c-acoustic-guitar/638627#bcrumbLabelId:503

2) http://www.guitarstreet.in/acoustic...ice_low=1803&price_high=5003&sort=low_to_high

i didnt found the color i was looking for ! the brown and yellow or red like the one arjun uses in is videos kabhi jo badal barse !

thank you for reading !

I hope TE can help me out in this !

If you're just starting get a second hand.
Guitar looks cool but actually playing it requires loads of dedication and don't get me wrong, playing guitar is easy but only after your fingers have formed those calluses and it takes daily practice to reach that level. :D

If you want to get new,get a gb&a,washburn, takamine etc.
Expensive beauties - Fender cd60.

And yes don't ever get the guitar online. It's should be something you are comfortable playing with so go to a local shop and play every guitar there is to play in your budget. Also if possible take a friend who knows how to play.

Cheers.

PS: avoid hobner,givson etc

I would love to get newone itself !

how much do Fender cd60 goes for ?????

Can you shed some light on pricing ??? And what else should I buy with guitar as I don't have a local shop in town !

Plz correct your thread title "acostric" to acoustic! Fender cd60 is way above your budget (approx.11k). At your price range u can go for pluto, granada, cort, stagg and so on. Guitar street, bajao.com, furtados are some good online markets. U can buy bags, picks, strings and straps!

Hmmm.... that's really way above my budget

is there much a difference in buying online and in store ????

Online I am nit getting what color I am searching for :(

You know what my recommendation would be?
Hunt around for the ultra cheapest ones you can. Possibly used once on quikr/olx/etc.
Of course make sure the guitar is actually in working condition before picking it up!

There is a reason why I recommend spending the least.
Most hobbies ("I am thinking of starting learning guitar") don't last long.
And to be honest you need to have the bent in you to actually progress with music and make it enjoyable enough to pursue successfully for a long duration (I am not talking about career, I am only taking about hobby!)

Since you say that you don't have a local shop, go online and shop from www.Bajaao.com, www.furtadosonline.com, etc (more reputable and knowledgeable than flipkarts and snapdeals).
By spending the least, you will realize your real sustainable interest, and at worst you will have a great furniture piece at lowest price in case you lose interest. Tomorrow if you really feel interested in pursuing the hobby or profession by practicing on your cheap guitar, your budget will not be so limited and you will actually know by then what you are looking out for and how to determine if a particular guitar actually appeals to you.
