Storage Solutions Need help choosing DVD writer

i wud go for LG if i were u.........My LG 16x Dual Layer DVD Writer is 3 years old and its been running without any problems so far....i lost count of how many DVDs and CDs i must have burned with it :) but then again i guess the others will go for either of the remaining two.........
 
-1 for Samsung..they hav tray problems..dunno if tht has been fixed now...

+1 for LG/Sony...Have had good experience with both...
 
 
I have the samsung s203b and the sony g170s flashed to optiarc 7173s. The latter gives much better burns on most media.... almost as good as the benq 1640 on +R and way better burns on -R.
 
I dnt have any other choices to chose from..:(

Only got the above 6 ones available online....so which wud b d best of the lot..??

Also aint Samsung SH-S203B SATA..den its out coz I need a PATA one...:)

wat abt Liteon/Moserbaer Liteon...?
 
buying from rediff is not safe as they have not mentioned any model numbers :no:

better buy a LG H55N (PATA), LITE-ON LH-20A1P (PATA) or Samsung SH-S203B (SATA) locally :)

even indiatimes doesnt have nos..:no:

Sony by the look & specs looks like Sony DRU-840A:)

Dnt no abt LG...:( They have given its 20x..& LG's 20x is GSA-H55N but its got LightScribescribe but the abov mentioned doesnt have tat,,:fear:

So Liteon would be the safest bet rgt...;)
