Need help creating FB Page

Yeah, I sound noob for sure.

I need help creating FB page for my forums. Thing is whenever I created, the link is - www.facebook.com/pages/name/etc something like this comes.

I want www.facebook.com/name

How to do it ?? Thanks a lot

Yes. But there are no instructions creating facebook.com/page

Go to "Ads And Pages" and there you can set it to facebook.com/yourpage

You can also try "Use Facebook As A Page" under "Account Settings".

I forgot how did I achieved it. But it's not that hard, just look here and there and you'll get that option.

Chances are look at "Ads And Pages" and from there you'll get settings of your page.

facebook gives option for the page to be identified by a username once its created .. i forgot how i got it but it comes only after u create a page

In short, you need atleast 25 users before you can get a dedicated username based page like that. Look into the FAQ for details.

I think I have to switch page and profile. "Use FB as Page" something liek that ?

Yes, but that would enable you to use FB as that page instead of your profile, but that won't give you a unique username like name I guess. Try it out.
