Need help for buying a Casio Writst watch under 10k.

harish.awe::: can you plse mention the ebay. in. seller from whom you purchased the watch.. plse... I am also planning to buy a edifice from e bay.can you mention the name of seller or his email id... or any of his contact informations.... plse help
 
@Aravind93 : Hi, Its been two year since i bought that watch from that seller, its working perfectly and it a genuine watch from Casio ,I'll send you his ebay postings link after going home. I'm not sure he is still selling watches but u can check , plz check twice before you buying from any ebay seller.

That's a damn robust and capable watch. How did you manage to "upgrade" it?

Not only it is half the weight of Edf, It is one of the most durable watch of Casio and i have been using this series for almost 11 years now.
For Casio, usually it depends on the store to give you discount. On Casio Owned Showrooms the discount is always 10%, however one of the showrooms Near my locality gives flat 20% off on Casion watched above 10K.

I managed to upgrade my ProTrek to this one, within 12K.

You will probably not get the Riseman with the Multi-band option here in India. Anyways, it is pointless here, cause it cannot sync. to the China station which is the closest to us. Though I got the Multi-Band version from Amazon (USA) and I get a weak signal at night, but it never syncs. long enough to correct the time for variation. Nevertheless it is a great watch, small and sits well. Rest of the functions work just fine...! Quite a device, to be honest.

The Riseman overall comes in variants: GW9200 - module 3147 and GW9200J - module 3145. The former gives options for Metric and Imperial system measurement, where as the module 3145 only has metric...! The 9200 has a dragon on the case back ,where as the Gw9200J has a flying squirrel on the back. The version without Atomic Sync. will just have "FULL AUTO EL LIGHT" written on the top, where as the Atomic Sync capable one will have "MULTI BAND 6" written on the top..!

I thought I was the only Gshock fanboy here! That's good to know but I don't care about multi band, just posted that pic for reference. This is what I am looking forward to purchase:

Never heard anyone selling Gshocks here. I am scared of selling it online with all over India delivery as I have heard horror stories of watches being stolen in transit and people getting stones instead rofl.

Don't wanna keep two almost identical Gshocks and I really like the Riseman. Biggest difference between the two being: In my current model time is not displayed while the stop watch runs + it is smaller than average so looks kiddish. In the riseman time is displayed while the stop watch runs + it is bigger and looks like a serious watch.

Yes, you can run the Chrono. and see time simultaneously on the Riseman. The link you showed is good value-for-money. True, the Atomic Sync. is useless in India, I got it for the kicks, since am a horology aficionado..!
