Well I am using Gigabyte's Ga-g31m-s2l mobo and in the specs I saw that memory speed its written 1066(O.C) , now does this mean that I cannot use ram which has stock speed of 1066 and that I can only use 800 mhz and then OC it to 1066 which I dunno will happen or not with ordinary ram ? ... I am planning to buy new RAM and now I need to know should I buy 4 GB 800mhz and OC it to 1066 or around it or buy 1066 stock speed ram .

Also I'm running my E6400 @ 3 Ghz ... i.e. 375 fsb x 8 = 3Ghz .... so if I do oc the 800mhz ram it will be 3xfsb = 3x375=1125mhz .... but that will go above 1066 will my mobo be able to handle that ? Since there is no way to set a custom multi for ram and only options are 1.5 2 2.5 and 3 ... ill have to go with 3 yes ? Cos 2.5 will be underclocking for 1066 stock speed ram ... it might be good for 800mhz ram if they cant do 3x375 ....
