Need Help Improving My Room Lighting – Smart & Normal Bulb Suggestions?

Hey everyone, I’m looking to upgrade the lighting in my room and could use some advice. My room has two B22 sockets, and I’ve been using a Philips T-Bulb 20W, but it’s starting to show its age. I want to improve the lighting and upgrade to something brighter.

I’m thinking of installing:
  1. A smart bulb in one socket – any budget-friendly recommendations that work well? Also, do I need a smart plug or switch, or can I control it directly with an app?
  2. A normal (non-smart) bulb in the other socket – something bright and efficient.
My room is kinda big, and I feel like 20W isn’t enough anymore. How many watts would be ideal? Any suggestions for both smart and normal bulbs?
Also how does this work , should i try it as its budget friendly and most 12w smart bulbs are costing 600+

Would appreciate any recommendations and setups as im new to this. Thanks!

Please do post more details.
1) Size of room L x W x H, paint color on wall, floor tiles color
2) Windows, size, placement, direction, sunlight direction and intensity,
3) Placement of Table, Shelf
4) Placement of B22 Sockets.
5) What smart feature are you looking out for in a smart bulb?

Is the light you prefer is RGB/Cool White, Warm White or Natural.
Is the lighting specific to the entire room or the computer/study desk only.
If possible photos.

Smart bulb - Good to play with in the beginning, later lost interest as it uses 2.4GHz WiFi vs 5GHz WiFi used to generally connect my phone. I won't likely buy another smart bulb in future.

I have one of those Philips T shaped LED lights in my hall. I bought one with inbuilt battery. IMO it is pretty good, can buy non-battery version if you already have an inverter. Buy its higher wattage one if you feel 20W is not enough.

I mostly purchased battery variant LED bulbs in my home. The ones in kitchen fails after a year or so, 3 bulbs failed in ~4 years but others are still good after 2+ years.
