PC Peripherals Need help in buying server

I want to buy a server........But i dont have any ideas.

My budget is around Rs 1.5 lac.

Should support 35-40 users and have hot swapable Harddrives and RAID support.
Preffer companies like IBM, DELL, HP, HCL

What is your purpose?

Who will maintain it?

For a 30-40 users you can opt for power AMD machine.

I you want to buy a new one, better call IBM/HP they have dedicated associates/agents to help you.

I mean that i dont know much about servers.
Well servers have warranty.......

For your purpose i think a low end server with xeon quad core,8 Gb ram/300gb*4 SAS hdd in raid5,redundant power supply will do the thing.How is your network is structured one.

You can take HP ML350G6/IBM server X-3400,both of them are tower models.BTW whats your location?.
