As 3 days back my C: boot partition got wiped off due to the dns virus, now i dont wanna take anymore further chances keeping in mind the future of my C: drive.
I will now try to shift everything to other partitions incl. downloads for IDM, utorrent, my documents, my desktop default location and whatever possible.
The question may sound silly but even after installing Mozilla in D or other drives, will the bookmarks, sqlite, xpi addons etc.. files get created there or will they be in their default C:\Documents and Settings\USER PROFILE\Application Data\Mozilla ?
Or shall i create the same exact folders on that drive too??
Next time if anything happens wrong with the C:, i simply want mozilla to work the way it was previously incl. all those hard gathered bookmarks and arranged addons even after new OS installation... You can say i want to mark that location PERMANENT for mozilla forever.
So if anybody has ever experimented with the above mozilla scenario, i would like to know their inputs..
