Need help. Nokia N70ME not responding

I was recording video using the phone when it got stuck:@ :@ .This isn't the first time this has happened, but this time i wasn't able to switch it off and restart.The restart button at the top just wouldn't respond!! The screen shows" rec. video" but it's not working.so what to do ??
 
Happening to me off late too, but then I hvnt maintained my phone well...

Take the battery out and pop it right back in.
 
LOL, that was easy.. but for working phone correctly.. format phone as well as memory card...

*#7073* or *#7370* is code for formatting phone and format memory from menu. :D
