Need help Overclocking my config

topic says it all & my siggie is my config :) btw i have normal standard smps & 2 fans that you normally get with a cabinet.:tongue:
 
I have the same board and the driver CD contains a tool Tseries Overclock utility III. Install it from the CD and use the AUTO ( to find it click on the left blinking arrows of the application window )option. It will test the condition of your system increasing the FSB by 1MHz each time. When it will find the system unstable, your system will be rebooted and will be at the max stable FSB and voila ! This is a good OC tool for the beginners using that board. Hope this helps. :)
 
thnx :) i tried it out..but even at max it would restart..so i just went to the bios and chose the auto option coud oc it to 3.08ghz only lol..my friend said somethin abt increasin the multiplier by 1 but i dunno where it is lol
 
the multiplier in the BIOS ! u can increase to 17X first keep the Vcore to 1.35

NOTE : which Smps are u using ??? brand name

stable speed is 3080.00+mhz, core voltage is 1.280v
 
thats really normal , with ur SMPS dont increase the vcore voltage its really dangerous

this speed is more than enough @ this time , then did u unlock the forth core ???

unfortunately no, btw does cool n quiet need to be enabled or disabled ?
