AS the other guy said, if you can wait, wait for like 6 months, new CPU & GPUs should be out. Not to forget that prices have increased due to covid & China border issues.

If you are buying now, make sure you get Zotac GPU as they provide 2+3 years of warranty after registration. Crucial MX500 is one of the best SATA SSD along with Samsung 860 Evo, for something budget, Kingston A400 is better than WD Green (avoid Green). Maybe try to get 500GB SSD. If your budget allows, get Zotac RTX 2060, used to be 25k, now seems to be 27k vs 21k (19k earlier) for Zotac 1660S Twin Fan.

Do change the monitor for sure, its just bad for photo editing because its a TN panel. Get Acer VG240YP, 24" 1080p 144Hz IPS display, costs 14-15k. Otherwise, the rig seems fine.

Thanks of the feedback!
Im planning to buy within a week or so, waiting till for 4000 series is a long shot.
Ive gone with the Crucial MX500 SSD,
I've switched to the MSI Optix G241 Monitor (144hz, 1ms, FHD IPS)

Im still debating on which motherboard to go for, because most of the MSI, Asus or Gigabyte B550 boards have a "K" and "A" model.
Do you have any suggestions?

B550 has better VRMs in general, but not sure how cheaper ones perform. Something like new MSI Tomahawk or Mortar are good but expensive as well.

You could just go for a good B450 like AsRock B450 Pro4 or Asus TUF B450 (7.5-8.5k) if you don't plan to upgrade to something like Ryzen 9 in future. Ryzen 7 should be fine as well IMO, but even for that B550/X570 is generally recommended. By saving money on mobo you can jump to RTX 2060, nice jump in performance.

That monitor is a good one.

Are you going to upgrade processor in near future ? If yes, get B550 based mobo; else, just get B450 based mobo.

AMD's AM4 socket would probably be seeing last crop of processor in upcoming Zen3 - Ryzen 4000 series CPUs. B550 mobos will support them officially. For B450 based mobos, AMD has promised support but a lot depends on manufacturers. Hope this clears a bit of confusion !
