need help regardin psp and mobile

Yep even the 6630 won't be able to run divx and xvid encoded stuff @ full 25-30 fps.

@superczar: Play burnout legends, lumines or nfs on the psp and u will take back what u said regardless of whether you like realistic or fun games ;). Besides that the psp sports the crispiest displays i have seen on a handheld and even portable media players.

PS: I suspect GTA: Liberty City Stories will prove to be the killer app for the psp :D

okk final thing will i b able to install s/w like acrobat reader(4 reading ebooks) on psp...since it will drop my plan to buy lappy for almost 2 yr or may b ever.....????also can somone pls post pictures of japanese and european version....???
 
It works but its a dirty downgrade, some things get carried over like the borwser and some other settings. you best bet is to get a 1.5 firmware psp which are available easily. :)
 
okk guys checked the price of psp...via my frnd.....12500 and 1 gb memory for 4750.........no need of umd....but confusion is its american version...do i go 4 it........or look for european version..or both r same???

also if i go in wifi area i cant access net unless i pay for the service...or is it jus lik radio fm signal...if u in area u get net....do reply soon..its urgent...shop only has 2 version firmware 1.50 and 1.52

get 1.50, wifi is offered for free at some places. between uk and US version there isnt much of a difference.
 
^^Divx or 3gpp? Divx is too processor intensive for the crappy proccy in a nokia phone!

@blade & Chaos - Guys i play Xvid + Mp3 Files on my Nokia 3650.
The Quality is really Awesome , full wide screen experience. :)
The Sound is also gr8.

The Video Resolution is smaller 176 x 120 or 176 x 92 , therefore the video
can be played also the fps is less but still its same as we watch on PC.
No frame lag smooth playback.

Guys, you can play xVid files on s60 devices using SmartMovie with the xVid plugin.
MP3 files can be played with MP3Go, Ultra MP3, etc., as well.
 
yup umd is a disc sony came up with.... so that they can still rule the market and mak profit..... but due to piracy its being said that now even psp isnt providing any profit to sony and they r in heavy lost this years...

A user, gaeko99, from a Chinese console forum, CNGBA has released PSP Media Player v0.0.5, a Media player for 1.50 firmware. Plays standard AVI (DIVX/XVID) on the PSP in fullscreen. (I’ve tested with a 464×352, 30fps XVID and it plays, although it’s pretty jumpy. It doesn’t seem to scale the image yet but image quality is perfect.

Also plays MP3, OGG, WMA.

Movies must be in /PSP/VIDEO
Music must be in /PSP/MUSIC
