Need help to create my own website

Hello Fellas,

I have started building up my blog on one free blog hosting website (I'll post the link later once it's ready to visit :))

Now I want to buy some domain names for it ... I guess I'll use godaddy.com or some other registrar.

I also might need web hosting for it later ... but I may buy it with domain names if not too costly :hap2:

So here are the things with which I need your help :D

a) Please suggest some good and reliable domain registrars

b) Please let me know some reliable web hosting for blogs and articles

Please pour your suggestion here guys :ohyeah:

^^ yeah... Start off making a blogger account for nw...

When u get comfortable with it u can purchase ur own domain n transfer the stuff there..

If you're very new to blogger then Open up blog with Blogger and then publish it on your purchased domain name. This will help to save money that you are going to pay for web hosting space. Blogger is simple yet powerful for newbie bloggers :)

ya .. I have already 2-3 different blogs on bloggers and some other websites too.
That's why I wanna buy domain name and do url redirection only ... not hoping to much traffic :)

One doubt I have is ... If I buy domain name say xyz.com from godaddy.com and I want xyz.com to redirect to http://abc.def.com then who will take care of it? Do I have to ask godaddy.com to do that for me? What if IP of http://abc.def.com gets changed in future?

Does somebody have some personal experience with above doubt ?? I checked with godaddy.com and they support URL redirection for to blog on blogger.com but not sure about other free hosting websites :(

Well, once you buy a domain name, you need to enter the (DNS) name servers of your free hosting provider, for the domain to redirect to your website.

who will take care of it?

Dont host with blogger, use byet host along with wordpress..they give everything...i mean EVERYTHING...Thats including almost unlimited bandwidth, databases etc..

Thanks to all :D ... I bought one domain from https://www.namecheap.com/ and another one from whost.in | whost.in - Fast, Reliable, Affordable, cheap Indian Web Hosting and Domain Registration :)

Right now building a blog from the scratch on byethost.com ... I'll test both my domains to redirect to this blog and see how it goes :D

For now ... only free hosting :D
 
Setting up the name server (hosting provider's DNS) at NameCheap.com is quite simple, although it will take upto 24 hours to reflect, as in redirect.

If you’re using a byethost free hosting account, the DNS server addresses are as follows:

* ns1.byet.org

* ns2.byet.org

* ns3.byet.org

* ns4.byet.org

* ns5.byet.org
