Need help to get my iPad 2 from the US

folks,

I have a brand new iPad 2 lying in the US, 'cos my friend couldn't bring it along with him. Now the next window of opportunity for me to get my hands on it is not before July!

Could you folks please check up if any of your contacts/relatives/gf/bf/neighbors are coming to India (from US). Any help in this regard would be immensely appreciated.

I'm in Mumbai, and the quarry in question is somewhere close to NYC. (I can have the iPad shipped to your location in the US)

Please do consider this request. . .
 
Why not use the Aramex shop and ship service to get it here.But it would attract afaik 20% duty

Have some patience. It will reach you, eventually. When I first read the title of the thread, I thought you were suffering from some physical or mental pain. Then I realized it's a tech forum. :)

It really is a ridiculous way to be presenting your request.

1) Thread title is absolutely misleading.

2) The way you have posted all that write up.. more like a girl's composition of boyfriend being overseas and she being sad.

Seems like somebody switched the boyfriend with ipad2 and ofc writer's gender as well.

You could have avoided all the melodrama.

Such way of presentation is simply Not Done.

yea thats like hyping up alot, i at first thought u had some disease or so and needed help.

Even i have a small bag worth nothing to be bought from teh US but didnt really pester anybody for it :P .

why so much negativity..!

this is a general discussion forum..! why would anyone who is diseased/afflicted or in pain post here in the first place..??

maybe the title was a tad overboard, something I realised after I had posted it; clearly the tone of the post was satirical and meant in good humor.

'Common sense' is higher up the hierarchy as compared to 'Language skills'. If you really are looking to find help, perhaps a show of 'Humility' will help your cause.

I understood you would conveniently will miss the single quotation mark and what it implies in usual parlance but i still did my bit to make it easier for you.
