My younger brother is using Samsung infuse 4G and it is on stock Froyo ROM which the phone came with. But with few apps he is facing issues that it requires newer version of android. So he wants to update it to either ICS or Jellybean.
Is anyone here using infuse and has updated to either of these new ROMs ? Since the phone is on stock Froyo, do I need to take care of anything while updating the android version ?
Any links or personal experiences will be appreciated.

Edit: Reading the xda developers threads about flashing jellybean and it it so damn confusing and to be frank it is scary reading those steps which mention IMEI backup and flashing back to stock and what not.

If anyone here has done all this please do help me in understanding in simpler language.

Yes i have done it , important points to note are
Rainbow effect that is froyo bootloader on a GB/ICS/JB ROM , getting into 3 button recovery is a pain and I had been using ICS on it but had read that JB is also quite stable . By evening i will check my bookmarks and tell you exact steps i did to go from froyo to GB than to ICS .
Entropy is maintaining ICS of infuse and he is a world class developer . Samsung takes his advise and was the guy to find about emmc bug in samsung phones

I am using Aeon ROM (Gingerbread) on Samsung Infuse, which is dam stable to me.

ICS and JB can be installed but it have bugs like:

1. NO HD Video Cam recording at 720P (480 p will be fine)
2. Flash not work.
3. Bluetooth issue.
