You won't believe, but as far I remember, I didn't visited my branch for last 6 months, there was no need too.
It should be other way round. You should keep the beneficiary list, so as to avoid the delay due to reconfirmation process when you want to transact with them again..lostpass said:For better result it is always davisable to delete it afterwards becuase you will get confused with so many benidficiary.
So, always for a neft transfer, get a days time beforehand.

I didn't go through any process like this. It was by default there on my time. May be they have implemented another level of security now.thatsashok said:Generally, the bank will initially give you viewing rights only. This means that you will be able to view account statements but won't be able to perform any transactions. However, you can request your branch to give you transaction rights by visiting in person.
I did not know this until i saw this thread.Yesterday i was experimenting with internet banking and it returns me "You do not have the transaction rights. Please visit your branch to activate."
Complete Process here eHow

The money is transferred only if there is an exact match in the account details you have provided (name, account number, branch etc). If there is even a small deviation, the money would be credited back to youCA50 said:So guys heres another problem from my side.
Im my last transaction, the a/c was in hdfc bank, but the a/c no contained 12-digits. I initiated the neft yesterday and the money got deducted from my a/c today and the current status is "verification in other bank"
Now the problem is that, i entered the wrong a/c no, the a/c no should be of 14-digits
Now what will happen to my money will i get it back?
