Need help with 'electric power consumption/electric power bill' survey.

Hello friends,

A friend needs some data for some survey/study.

The more the cities, the better for her.

She needs the figures for the lowest, average and peak power consumption figures for the past year and the respective bill/price for the same.

I request you'll to provide the deatils for power consumed in your homes.

Also do let meknow if i can find some list for the same online.

May i please request you all to please help her by providing/posting the details in the following format-

No of family members.

Month/year----Units consumed----Total amount (incl of all taxes)----Remarks(lowest/avg/highest)

She also requires the figures for industrial units/consumers.

Where may i look for that?

How will the stats vary?
Wouldn't the consumption pattern of a average family in a metro like mumbai be identical to that of a family in bangalore?
 
^ This is India- i am not sure if averages exist here- we just assume. :P

Size of family, appliances, consumption varies and so does the cost per unit, the slabs, etc.

Just one query till now and no single reply, esp with numbers. :(

Seems like most have not even checked their monthly bill as it's taken care of by dad/family. :P

Don't know how i can get enough info by tomorrow- it's really urgent. :(
 
Not illustrative because the weather patterns differ. So then also the energy consumption.
But on average our consumption is 190+ units . Add or sub 15 units with use of geysers etc.

Can you state the objectives of this study, what is its goal ?

Precisely, not to mention the variance in unit rates amongst different regions as well.

Lower consumption (less than 300 units) is cheaper in Bombay than it is in Bangalore.

So this study will have to normalise for all these variations if its to be of any value.

I simply need units, bill amount for that and city name. :P

Provider: Reliance Energy
Amount varies with the addition of some extra taxes.
but the average amount to 850-1000.

Avg - 500 units, amount - 2500

lowest 400 - highest 890 (since 1 yr)

No of family members - 6
