Need help with home planning. Images attached

I have a 30x30 West facing plot in Bangalore. I've designed everything based on Vastu. I'm satisfied with this plan but not sure if it's good enough. Also any recommendations/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Edit- It's a road facing West plot. The top is East.

Yess. Thank you! It means a lot. I've been working on it for over a week now. I had a better plan but the enginner said it's not as per vastu so this is the final version.

For vastu you haven't mentioned four cardinal directions so I assume the top is north facing by default how the map points.
For vastu mentioning directions is of utmost importance.

Oh my bad! It's a road facing West plot. The top is East.

Kitchen is on the ground floor at SE, right? perfect.

1st floor MB is on the SW right? perfect.

1st floor NE : space for Puja/guest room?

Is it possible to shift the living area from SW to NW in the ground floor? The garage can then be at the SW? Or sitting area at the NE, garage NW & shift the room to SW?

I've tried this idea but the problem is that there's a multistorey building to the East and if I place the living area there then there won't be much sunlight into it.

Moving the room to SW is also a problem because dad doesn't want the room to be right next to the road since it's not safe.

Also, I like the idea of garage in the SW but where would the main entrance for living area be then?

If you want it to be entirely vastu compliant, you'll have to make certain adjustments & compromises, one way or the other.
You'll have to tradeoff one for the other..

Owner's room is best at SW.
NE is for deity, worship space.
SE is best for kitchen - you've done that well.

Your SW shouldn't be light - I mean it has to be a heavy space : house your almirah, jewelry, cash, owner's room etc in this corner.

NE is the opposite - do not overdo that corner zone.

Thanks for the great insight buddy. I'm not trying to make it strictly vastu compliant btw since it's West facing. It'd be so much easier to plan for an East facing house. Will keep these points in mind to make some changes. Thanks again!!

Nice design. I don't know anything about vastu or the building rules in the Bangalore.

Our family friend recently were also designing their house in a similar sized plot. I suggested them to lift the house 1 floor up and leave the ground floor empty as a parking. The increased cost is very marginal plus it doesn't count against the FSI. Today, single car parking may suffice but it might become insufficient for future needs. Keeping ground floor empty as parking will give ample space to expand in the future.

You're absolutely right. That was our initial plan as well but the cost went up a lot more than we expected. But it has a major problem too. When parents get to old age they'll find it difficult to take the stairs everytime they have to go out and get back.
