Need help with my SFlo2/Teclast T51

I follow Joker at a very, very, very safe distance on the basis of no of IEMs owned + tried :P

I neither have the bandwidth nor the dedication that ljokerl has on a continuous basis. Don't forget that he also has 86 portable headphones comparison thread. He will cross 250 IEMs and 120 headphones :O by 2012 if all things remain as-is (I just did a count and I've covered only 27 IEMs as part of main review / Initial impressions + 5 as part of comparisons only).

... and sorry for so much OT in this thread :ashamed:. Now, back on topic. Do update us when you get the S:Flo2.

@Nizarp The Sflo2 is just a rebranded Telcast T51, rebranded by Mp4nation, and mp4nation does not sell/support any player not bought from them. In this case they will definitely not refurbish or replace your T51 as it is clearly not bought from them (directly or indirectly via Lynx). Lynx must've sourced it directly from Telcast or their Telcast's Chinese distri to cut margins. Simply adding to his pocket :no: .You should've returned the product back to him the day you got it as it was simply not what you ordered. If he's giving you grief about honoring the warranty, there are much worse things you can do.

Kudos to you Gautam :clap: , you have shown us once again a side of you which is absent in most dealers and people in general which is almost vanishing by the day. Its not the fact that its just an mp3 player, its the "that's not my biz, y shud I get involved" attitude in people. Although I would feel its not fair to you for giving away your Sflo2, whether you got it for free or not but its selfless of you to offer. I would've certainly repped you for this but unfortunately I can't. I have to spread some rep around and TE just feels short of members like you around. :cool2:
 
That was a very kind of Gautam to offer help to Nizarp but if the deal was carried out on TE and if the seller had promised you a warranty when you bought the product , you should rightfully get your product replaced/repaired under warranty. Maybe you could speak the admins/mods about this .They might entertain you only if the deal was carried out on TE . So incase you have the link to the deal thread it would be better.

Hope you have a perfectly working Sflo2 in your hands soon. Best of Luck.

Of course it was very kind of Gautam to offer his help with this.

As Gautam suggested, I had a long talk with Amarbhir yesterday and at last he told me that he will try to get me something from his store to compensate for the Teclast player. So I am now waiting for his reply to see what he can do.

Will update here once I get back from him.

I tried calling Amarbhir many times for the last 5 days to check what he can do about this issue. But he was not answering to my calls at all. Today after trying one more time I tried calling him from a different number and he immediately attended the phone. He told me that he is not there on Chandigarh and he can't do anything until he reach back on 6th July. Very disappointing...!
 
^^I would suggest you to dump the player and take it as lesson learned the hard way. Better deal with pristine note, can vouch for them anyday.
