@freaky: How much did you get the Zalmans for? I am also looking for a 5.1 Headphones that are well suited for gaming. How is the sound quality, perticularly the bass. congrats on the purchase.

The sound quality is really good but will know better when I watch Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down The bass is what makes me luv the HP. Its very good (Am a bass freak). Will need to tweak the settings some more. Will let u know maybe after 2 or 3 days of usage.

Ok. Saw Resident Evil - Apocalypse last night using the Zalman and I got completely hooked. The Zalman performed very well and it was a highly satisfying experience - It sounded superb.

Where can I get the zalmans. Its avaialble on sify shopping, but priced at 2750 which I think is a bit on the higher side.

Mediatech are the distributors. Why dont u try getting in touch with them ?? 2.7K is way too high considering the fact that Jai - The user who reveiwed the Zalman in May 05 got it for 2.6K.

Music sounded horrible on the Zalmans. Listening to Godsmack and Metallica on this is like murdering them. And another funny thing is that one of the channels did not work in my comp - Realtek onboard - whatever combination of sockets I tried. But works fine in Saiyan's Creative Audigy value. Me going for Senn soon hyeah:
