Need IEMs for my iPhone 4. Budget is about 1k. Can spend a tad more if it comes with microphone option.

Soundmagic PL M21.

Look in Pristine section . Those are good with Mic.

If mic not required then PL 30.
 
Sire, go for the PL-30 [overall great sounding IEMs in your price range].

If a mic is a necessary fixture, please go for the MP-21 [a standard PL-21 with an attached mic], the bass response on the PL 21 is more pronounced, but the PL-30 depending on the type of music you listen and the burn in you give it has a more appealing and natural sound response [no particular bias to any sound sign].

what kind of music are you listening.if hip hop rap and other bassy songs comes in your list then you wont like pl30.
pl30 comes with airy soundstage at that price.they are good for mid lovers.
 
PL-11 are not very enjoyable even for people seeking lot of bass rather go for PL-30 , PL-21 and if you can extend to 1300-1400 then cx-180 good for all genres , has good bass too.
 
CX-180 are pretty good but not really compatable to PL-30 in terms of the clarity of midrange and soundstage.
