31-40k Need laptop to last for many years

Yeah that makes sense. I wish they should say it upfront, instead of giving us a final quote and backpedalling from that. I find that a dishonest business practice. That's why I wasn't keen on getting refurbished laptop from them.

Anyway, got me a Thinkpad E14 from Amazon. Found it good enough for my requirements.

Which exact E14 config did you get? I am also keenly observing the E14 as a friend is looking for a reliable laptop and he travels a lot with the laptop but the T series are kinda outta budget.

10th Gen i3, 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Full HD IPS Screen - 39,990 in Amazon. Fast enough for day to day tasks. It's only been a week, though.

Please do check lenovo thinkpad series, they are build to last and are very durable. I have it for past 11 yrs and still working.
