Need mid-level gaming rig for 25k

My friend wants new computer where he can watch hd movies, browse and that usual stuff plus play games like crysis, gta4, cod etc.

AMD is preferable since intel machine wouldn't fit within budget.

Since i usually build my own machines i came up with this...but im exceeding budget by a couple of thousands :P

If your friend can extend his budget a little bit more, than go with Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H ~ 4.5k and FSP Saga II 400W ~ 1.9k

Otherwise, its a good suggestion.
 
-You could go with Dell 1720 ~ 5.5k (save like 800 bucks there )

-Go with X3 435 Rana ? ~ 3.5k (that should be enough)

-Get the zebby bijli / generic cabby -that'd be enough ~1k

-Now that you have like a reduced 25k in totals - you could save the money / use the $$$ on a decent Corsair CX400/FSP 400W + GTS450

The combo + GTS450/ATi 5670 (7k) + 1720 17"(5.5) + KB+Mouse (.7) + Logitech R20 (.9) + ODD (.9) ~ 28k - That'd make a good picking too...

in 5670 512 mb or 1gb makes no diff.
 
Like someone else mentioned go in for the 880 chipset, the performance increase is noticeable. Other than that, I'm not sure how tight your budget is but the 5670 is not a very good card. Think about a 5770. In the future you could upgrade to a 5770CF which is real value for money. Also, FYI the monitor you picked is not full HD.
 
you can get AOC 22" at 6.8 in nehru place, i was there 2 months back ( cant say if the prices have gone up though )

also if you go to nehru place you can get CM320 its much better looking and cooling efficient compared to the 310. Bro bought it for 1.7K from Computer empire.

logitech K/M combo is surely ...510-550 there no more .

so as you are in delhi make a trip to NP , you can get good deals there.
