C ....thts what i meant when i said u really cant future froof ur pc for long...(not exactly those words thou)
But i Think soc 939 mite b better if purchasing now cuz price diff is not much compared to soc 754 nd u get the extra features like dual channel nd stuff

If PCI Express is absolutely essential, there are a couple of Socket 754 boards with PCI Express like the Asus K8N4-E and MSI K8N Neo3-F that should hopefully be cheaper.
However no idea if the boards are here as yet and even in the states availability is scarce. Asus usually tend to have their full range available.
Why the sudden rush to PCI-Express? Its not like AGP is dying anytime soon.
